Congratulations on celebrating your anniversary at WDW; we did the same thing for our 10th! If you are willing to splurge on a deluxe resort, the
Boardwalk Inn has an amazing little secret, the Garden Cottage Suites. They are little cottages with white picket fences, private courtyards with individualized landscaping, living rooms, and bedroom lofts. They are wonderfully private and cater to newlyweds. Within walking distance of Epcot (and Disney's Hollywood Studios), you can easily wander over to some amazingly romantic dining opportunities.
Similarly, I think the
Polynesian Resort with its white sand beach, views of the Magic Kingdom, and lush landscaping are magical. The
Animal Kingdom Lodge is another wonderful resort to experience. How often can you sit on your balcony and watch giraffes, zebras, and other African wild life? The resort itself is richly decorated and filled with scents aromatic spices; it is a must-see on every single visit we make to WDW. I'd at least consider eating at either
Boma or
Jiko.
If you'd rather stay at a moderate resort,
Port Orleans French Quarter is the most intimate and romantic of the moderates. It is smaller and captures the feeling of New Orleans. In addition, it has a charming boat ride to Downtown Disney.
