Hi, My husband and I are planning on two days at WDW at the end of Feb. Can I bring a small purse, such as a cross body purse or small backpack handbag into WDW and onto the different rides? I need to carry a sweater & ID & inhaler. Thanks.

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Your Walt Disney World vacation is only weeks away and I’m sure you are getting excited. There's so much fun awaiting you.

Yes, you absolutely can carry a small purse or backpack into the theme parks. My wife likes to carry a small cross-body purse and I typically carry a small backpack or drawstring backpack. You will pass through a
bag check at a security checkpoint before you enter the parks.

Most attraction ride vehicles will have a pocket our pouch where you can secure your bag. Other attractions will offer plenty of space to keep your bag next to you or at your feet.

Have a great vacation and enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
