My husband and I are planning our 1st trip to WDW in 2009 with our son who will be almost 6 then. What would be a good time to go the last week of April or the first week of May? How are the crowds at these times? It would be Sun. to Friday. Thanks

I don't believe you will find too much of a difference between these two weeks.   Spring break should largely be over by mid-April and most school semesters run at least through Memorial Day.   That said, I do recall we visited for a week during early May and found this to be one of the better times to visit from a crowd perspective.    You should find crowds very reasonable, especially since your traveling largely during the week.   Either way you should be fine.  Enjoy your vacation!
