My husband and I are planning a trip to WDW Jan 2011. We want a private photo session. What location would you recomend? We want a romantic look to the photos. Will the plants at some of the resorts be dead because its January. Want best photos possible.

You will enjoy the private photo session results while you are at Disney!  We have had many taken at various locations and have been pleased with all.

Some of the most romantic resorts would be the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian.  If you are hoping for a beach type background with possibly the castle behind you then the Polynesian is a great choice.  For something a bit more formal with awesome inside shots as well as outside then the Grand Floridian would be my choice.  When you call to make your appointment discuss the type of location you wish and what kind of photos you hope to get from the location and let them guide you from there.  They can be the best judges of the time of day and location and new sites can come up for them daily.

I would not worry about the vegetation as no matter what season it is you will find lush plants everywhere you look.  Sometimes they magically appear overnight!
