My husband & I are planning a trip to WDW in August 2016. Our children will be 16 & 7. I have been undecided about where to stay & which dining plan to choose. I am on the fence b/w Disney Art of Animation vs Pop Century & Disney.

    Hello, Sharon!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have asked two great questions! I'm happy to help!

Disney Dining Plans are a great way to save on meals while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. When deciding on which plan to purchase, I suggest thinking about your family's vacationing style. If your family likes to be on the go and stop for a quick bite, then the Quick-Service Dining Plan may be best. However, if you prefer to have a few scheduled table service meals and a few quick service locations, then consider purchasing the Disney Dining Plan. The Deluxe and Platinum Dining Plans are options if you plan multiple signature dining experiences or multiple table service meals per day. Keep in mind that you can add a dining plan to your reservation up to 48 hours before your arrival, so you have lots of time to decide on the plan that works best for your family.

Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are very popular value hotels and offer unique theming. Both hotels offer pools, jogging trails, playgrounds and arcades. Disney's Art of Animation is the "youngest" of the value hotels and offers family suites that can accommodate up to 6 people, and fantastic for families needing a little more space. It also has the distinction of having the largest pool on property and has a state-of-the-art underwater speaker system. I am sure your children will enjoy this cool feature!

I hope I have given you some information to help your family make decisions for your upcoming vacation. Please visit us again with any questions you may have.

    Have a magical day!
