My husband and I are planning another trip to WDW in April. We just upgraded our Disneyland passports to Premier but, now I'm wondering if that was a wise idea since now we can't get a dining plan with our stay as we had planned.

Hello Teresa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, I was sure to take advantage of every deal that was available to me and my family. With the Disney Parks Premier Passport, I recommend that you take advantage of every deal on both coasts.

While Disney Dining Plans are usually linked to Magic Your Way Vacation Packages or included as a part of a Special Offer package, Annual Passholders are not left in the dark. In fact, while you may be unable to book the Disney Dining Plan directly online through your My Disney Experience Account, if you book Room-Only Reservations you can still order a Disney Dining Plan.

By booking your Walt Disney World Resort Reservations with a Cast Member by calling (407) 939-1936, or by calling after you make Room-Only Reservations online and then calling a Cast Member and referencing the Reservation Number, the Cast Member will be able to add a Disney Dining Plan to your Reservations. Just inform eh Cast Member that you are a Disney Parks Premier Passport Member and they will be happy to assist you.

As far as taking advantage of any Complimentary Disney Dining Plan Special Offer is concerned, I recommend that you consider the deep discounts afforded to Annual Passholders on Resort Hotel stays instead. They often allow you to save a considerable amount that far outweighs the value of a Disney Dining Plan.

    Bon Appétit!
