My husband and I are planning a trip to WDW for our 35th anniversary. We have been researching the PORS in the Magnolia Bend Section. How would we go about asking for a room in that section close to bus stop & food court. How soon should we make rese

Hi, Martha - and happy anniversary to you and your beloved!

While Cast Members at Disney Resort hotels do their best to ensure that each Guest's requests are honored, your room will not be assigned until you arrive.

When you call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) W-DISNEY to make your reservations, you should have the requests noted on your reservation.

Upon arrival, make sure to remind the Cast Member who checks you in that you made the request and ask if it is possible to be in that section. Again, more often than not, you will be accommodated as closely as possible to your original request, but it all depends on occupancy, stay length, availability, etc.

You can make hotel reservations any time up to 599 days before your arrival date, and dining reservations (at [407] WDW-DINE or online) 180 days in advance.

And make sure to get a special complimentary anniversary button when you check in.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
