My husband and I are planning a trip to Walt Disney World with our 3 yr old and 1 yr old. We will be going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Can anyone please answer a question..are there enough rides for our 1 yr old to ride?

    Hi Christina,

We first took our daughter to Walt Disney World when she was seven months old, and then again when she was sixteen months old. It is a truly magical age to take your child to Walt Disney World. I absolutely think that there are plenty of attractions that are appropriate for your one-year-old at all of the parks.

At Magic Kingdom Park, many of the rides that your baby may enjoy are in Fantasyland. These include Peter Pan's Flight, it's a small world, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Outside of Fantasyland, your child might enjoy a trip around the park on the Walt Disney Road Railroad, a ride around Tomorrowland on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, or a cruise along the waters of far-off lands on the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland.

At Disney's Animal Kingdom, there are many attractions for your young one as well. Your child may enjoy looking at real animals on Kilimanjaro Safari. Babies may also like a ride on the Wildlife Express Train, which goes to Rafiki's Planet Watch. Once there, your baby might enjoy the Affection Section which allows the opportunity to pet animals. Your child might also enjoy a spin on TriceraTop Spin in DinoLand U.S.A. Don't forget the shows, such as Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King. These feature great music and bright colors which may enchant your little one.

Finally, there are many attractions for your young one at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many of the attractions for one-year-old at Disney's Hollywood Studios are shows, including the high-energy Disney Junior - Live on Stage! featuring puppets from Disney Junior Channel. Your child might also enjoy stage shows such as Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage.

There is so much to do at all of the parks for little ones. Have a wonderful time at the parks, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
