My husband and I are planning a trip to take our two sons to Walt Disney World in September 2016. During our stay, our oldest son will turn 4! My question is, is there any benefit to booking now versus waiting to see if Disney offers any specials?

    Hi Lee-Anne,

What a fun birthday celebration! I would say the main benefit of booking in advance is to be sure you have a room at the resort of your choice. This only works if you are planning to make your trip whether or not you find a Special Offer available for your dates. You can make a reservation now, and try to apply a Special Offer if one becomes available.

If you will not be traveling unless you find a Special Offer, you might want to wait and see what offers are released. Mousesavers.com is a great resource for which discounts Walt Disney World has offered in the past and when they were released.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions!
Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
