My husband and I are planning a trip to Orlando in March. We have no children and are an older couple (late 50's - early 60's). What moderate hotel would you recommend?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Theresa!

A romantic trip to Disney is always exciting!  All of the moderate resorts are wonderful but I'd recommend Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  Here's why:

    * Its smaller than the other moderate resorts so you don't have to do as much walking.
    * Its quiet which can be perfect after a day in the parks.
    * You can take a water taxi to Downtown Disney.
    * The food court has some nice selections including Beignets for breakfast.
    * You can unwind at Scat Cat's Club while listening to live jazz music.
    * You can take a horse-drawn carriage ride.
    * This resort has a great theme.

Be sure to go see Yehaa Bob Jackson at the River Roost Lounge at Port Orleans - Riverside (the sister resort of French Quarter). He is extremely entertaining and I think you'd enjoy his show.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions.  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
