Hi Rachel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for asking this great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!
Oh Boy! Visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth is already wonderful on it's own, but you are absolutely going to love
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The jolly sights and sounds, your favorite Disney friends in their festive wear, and plenty of party-only exclusives like the Christmas parade! But the
Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Fun isn't just limited to this one event. All four theme parks dazzle in various types of decor, shows and entertainment.
Disney Springs even joins in the fun!
I have great news in that yes, your
Disney Dining Plan entitlements will be valid for the entire length of your visit, including during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I will say that options for full-dinner worthy meals are limited during the event as some
Quick-Service locations, usually the ones that serve full meals and not just snacks, do start to close around three hours before the rest of the park.
Casey's Corner is usually open all night, but my number one Pro Tip on how to maximize the fun of this special event ticket would be to eat dinner before the party officially kicks off, which last yEAR was 7:00 P.M., and then try to snack around during the event. Most snack-style Quick Service locations are open and serve up their normal menus during the night, so yes you'll be able to get a
Disney famous Dole Whip Float and use a Dining Plan snack entitlement to pay for it. You'll even be able to utilize
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering with your Dining Plan during the party!
Be sure to save some room because not only are complimentary treats like all kinds of cookies, soft pretzels and hot chocolate included with the price of your party ticket and are stationed all over the park, there are also party-exclusive merry morsels available for purchase. Here's the
Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to the 2019 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Some of these treats even count as Disney Dining Plan snacks! Just like Mickey and his pals love a good surprise, the Disney Chefs love to create all kinds of new goodies each yEAR, so while some items on the linked list may make a reappearance this winter, 'like' and 'follow' the
Disney Parks Blog across all of your social media channels so you'll be sure to catch the post about what tasty treats will be featured this yEAR.
I hope this helped to plan your holiday Disney Days, Rachel, and if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
