Hi Moms! My husband and I are planning a trip in May with our 3 kids. We are going to stay at a value resort with 2 double beds. My two oldest ( boy 10 and girl 14) are making a big deal about having to sleep in the same bed. Can I bring an air matress?

Hey, Alicia! Please know that I am laughing with you and not at you since we suffer from the same sibling-cootie germs in our family, too! You can certainly bring an air mattress with you, but in a value resort regular-sized room, you're not going to have a whole lot of floor space.  You may be able to squeeze a single one by the wall with the window or perhaps put a sleeping bag in between the two double beds.  You'll then need to put your air mattress and/or sleeping bag away every morning in order to move around in the room with five people.  It can certainly be done...you just may need to prep the troops with a little lecture about "family togetherness" before your vacation.  Let me know if you need to borrow some wording...we're coming up on a WDW vacation where we've got to make the car lecture to our four kids!  Best wishes, have a wonderful day and a magical, peaceful vacation!
