My husband & I are planning a trip on Labor Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We typically stay at POR but want to stay at a deluxe resort this time. We are thinking about The Boardwalk or The Beach Club. Is one a better choice over the other?

    Hi Janet:

Happy anniversary.  I think choosing a Resort on in the Boardwalk area is a wonderful idea so you can take evening strolls and enjoy the restaurants, shops, and entertainment on the Boardwalk.

Between the two, I would choose Beach Club.  The pool at Stormalong Bay is considered by many to be the best pool on property featuring a major water slide, several sections, and a lazy river.  The pool at Boardwalk Inn features a giant clown face.  Also, the Beach Club is a bit closer to Epcot, which can make a small difference if you plan to spend time at that Park.

In the end, both Resorts are wonderful and are in a great location.  However, Beach Club gets my vote.

    Enjoy your vacation.
