My husband and I are planning a trip, however, I suffer from motion sickness and will not go on any rides. Is there a discount ticket that allows a guest to walk around and experience the park but will not work on rides?

    Hi Donna!

I'm excited to hear that you are planning a trip with your husband to the "Most Magical Place on Earth!" You are going to have a wonderful time together exploring the magic of the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. Unfortunately, there isn't a restricted theme park ticket that will allow you entry without access to attractions at a reduced cost. However, you will find that there are several activities in the theme parks that you will be able to enjoy, even if you can't ride many of the theme parks' attractions.

I just got back from a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with several girlfriends and there were several days of our trip where we didn't ride any attractions, but we were never bored. With a wide variety of entertainment options, Character Experiences, incredible restaurants and more, there will be plenty for you to explore to make your theme park admission worth the price! I always include live shows and parades in our theme park itinerary, so you don't want to miss those events.  You will also find that there are quite a few attractions at the theme parks that don't actually move that you should be able to enjoy without feeling sick. You should definitely plan on seeing shows such as The American Adventure, Finding Nemo - The Musical and Festival of the Lion King during your visit! Finally, don't forget the incredible shopping, dining and entertainment that you can enjoy with your husband at Disney Springs.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about all of the magical things you will be able to enjoy together during your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
