    My husband and I are planning a trip in early December for our 11 & 5 yr olds and his parents. We want a nice but reasonable place in Disney resorts. What is the best way for us to do this? We are flexible on dates and length of stay is 5-7 days.

    I am a huge fan of the Moderate Resorts at Walt Disney World! Many have their rooms recently updated, so you can enjoy luxury at a Moderate price.

    My favorite resort is Port Orleans French Quarter.  The rooms have very comfortable queen sized beds and with this being the smallest of the Moderate Resorts, it is very easy to get around.  In the evenings, you can enjoy a horse and carriage ride, or on certain nights, movies under the stars.  And you do NOT want to miss the delicious beignets at the bakery!

    Port Orleans French Quarter is conveniently located on the Sassagoula River, so you can walk down to sister resort Port Orleans Riverside or take a leisurely boat ride to Downtown Disney.
