My husband and I are planning a trip to DW with my nephew. We would like to stay in AK and I was wondering if it is possible to see the parade from any of the hotels in AK? Is it possible to see any of the parades in the parks from a hotel balcony? Thanks!

You can't see any of the theme park parades from resort balconies, but you can see a special night time Electrical Water Pageant from the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, and the Polynesian.  The Pageant runs in the evening and has about twelve floating barges that carry different lighted images.

The parade is neat and if you happen to be in your room and hear the music its worth taking a look at, but I would not plan my trip around it.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort and you get to see wonderful animals like giraffes, ostriches, antelopes, and many others right from your balcony.  My favorite is the artificial moon light that lights up the savannah at night.  It make for a truly magical experience and one that I am sure you will enjoy.
