Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Brandy!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Thanks so much for dropping by with a question about your upcoming vacation. It sounds like you and your family have a big
Walt Disney World Resort visit coming up –– how exciting that you're bringing the whole gang along to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few weeks!
As a California resident, I'm guessing you've been known to visit Disneyland Resort multiple times during the year. With that in mind, I can see how an Annual Pass that gives you access to Disney magic on both coasts would be a great option for your upcoming visit. Unfortunately, however, the Disney Premier Passport –– which included a year of admission to both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort –– didn't return when the
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and
Disneyland Magic Key programs were reimagined in 2021. While this type of pass isn't currently available, that doesn't mean we won't see it (or something similar) return in the future. For all the latest Annual Pass news from both Florida and California, including any new offerings, I recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog –– it's the perfect source for any breaking news, as well as all the excitement happening at Disney Destinations across the globe.
Speaking of Annual Passes, both the Disneyland Magic Key program and the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder program have currently paused sales of most new passes. While I'm not sure if this will change before your January visit, if it does and you'd like to purchase an Annual Pass, remember that you should have the option to upgrade your existing theme park tickets by visiting any
Guest Relations location or Walt Disney World theme park ticketing window. Just be sure that you upgrade your pass before entering the park on the last day of your tickets –– once you've entered the park for the final time, your ticket will no longer be eligible to upgrade.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Brandy. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you and your family lots of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
