Hello! My husband and I are planning a trip to Disney world with our adult daughter. Our daughter is a **HUGE** Maleficent and Aurora and Ariel fan, is it true that Disney can make dreams come true like arranging special meetings for attendees??

    Hi Tatiana!

It sounds like you are planning quite an exciting vacation for you and your husband and daughter. I love the fact that Walt Disney World is just as magical for adults as it is for the children.

The Disney magic will surround you from the first moment you arrive. Some of this magic is free to all and then other magic will come with an extra price tag. All guests are more then welcome to head to a character meet and greet and visit briefly with their favorite. Pictures and autographs are allowed and it doesn’t matter what age you are to appreciate this activity.

You will find Ariel meet and greet in the Magic Kingdom and Aurora in Epcot. Always pick up a Times Guide when you enter for the most current times and locations for all character meetings. Most of the time you can also find both of these princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table and the Akershus Princess Dining. Unfortunately, Maleficent does not have any regular character meet and greet and only comes around during special parades or holidays.

Now, if your budget can handle it you can call the Disney Event Group to see if they can assist you in planning something very magical and private for you and your family and friends. This can include a private character meet and greet and those sessions come in a 30 minute block. My family has done this in the past and the rates can run over $1000 for each character for that 30 minutes. The opportunities are abundant and they can assist you with the details.

This magic does exist but at a cost. Perhaps grabbing a reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table as well as the Princess Dining at Akershus would at least give your daughter two of her favorite princesses to meet and greet during your stay. Let them know this is a special moment for your daughter and they can often spend just a few more minutes with her. Enjoy!
