My husband and I are planning a trip to Disney this spring with our 8-year old and soon-to-be 1-year old..Are there many rides and/or activities that she will be able to participate in, and at such a young age?

    Hello, Carrie!

Thanks for asking us another question! There are many attractions that everyone in your family can ride that do not have a height requirement. I suggest looking at this Disney Parks Blog post to see all Walt Disney World Resort theme park attractions by height requirement. I am sure it will help you decide which attractions to experience as a family, ones that your 8-year-old can enjoy and those where mom and dad can have a little fun! You may even want to use Rider Switch for attractions that your Mouseketeers are unable to ride. I highly recommend Planning for Little Ones, a page designed for traveling with small children to learn about even more activities for your little Mouseketeer. If you need a place for feeding or just a break from the theme parks, we have you covered! I have attached also attached a video from my fellow Moms Panelist Jen that discusses the many benefits of the Baby Care Centers.

As you can see, Walt Disney World Resort is truly a place for a family to create magical memories! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
