Hi Natalie!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little Disney-lover in the making is so exciting! We took my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he was just a baby and loved every moment of it. Even though he's bigger, we still love the convenience of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel located on the monorail because of how easy it is to get off and on with his wheelchair, as well as how quickly we arrive at Magic Kingdom park!
All three Resort hotels you're thinking about staying at are wonderful! Disney's Contemporary Resort has two of my favorite restaurants: Chef Mickey's and California Grill! Yum! Also, while staying at the Contemporary Resort hotel, you can walk to Magic Kingdom Park or use the monorail. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would be a treat to your little Mouseketeer's senses while dancing to the jazz band playing in the Resort hotel lobby! In my opinion, I would choose to stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Guests are within walking distance (and monorail ride) of the Ticket and Transportation Center, the Lava Pool is so much fun and whenever we stay there we feel as though we're staying on a tropical island somewhere!
There are so many attractions available for you to take your little one on! I recommend flying high through the sky on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, taking a boat ride (or many) on "it's a small world" and also, be sure to stop and meet your child's favorite Disney Characters! Here is a
helpful guide to the height requirements for the most popular attractions at all four theme parks!
