My husband and I are planning a trip Disney in November 2012 with our 2 year and our 7 month old. We are having trouble deciding whether Pop Century or Port Orleans Riverside is best for our young children. Any suggestions?

    Hi Julie!

We've stayed at both, and I truly think either would be great for you family!  I do like the fact that the rooms at Port Orleans Riverside (our favorite Moderate Resort!) are a little bit larger, so it allows a little more space for that pack 'n play for your little one.  It also has boat transportation to Downtown Disney , which our children really enjoy, as well as nightly carriage rides.  They also have campfires at the nearby Port Orleans - French Quarter (easily accessible by foot or by boat).

I think the bottom line comes down to your budget.  Compare the prices versus your length of stay and see what works better for you.  If you do save some money on the Value Resort, what could/would you use it towards?  Would staying at a Value Resort let you stay an extra day?

    Have a magical vacation!
