My husband and I are planning a trip to Disney for our anniversary. We went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon and want to kind of re-create that feel. Which hotels and parks would recreate the tropical, beach theme?

    Hi Staci!

What a fun idea! Disney is the perfect place for celebrating any relationship and also for recreating special events!

My best friend and I went to Disney World for our High School Graduation and stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort! This will be the perfect one for you! It's set up to duplicate the foliage, music and architecture of the Caribbean! The rooms are even named Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica!

But the main thing you'll love (and will remind you of your honeymoon) is the beach. It's called Barefoot Bay and my favorite part are the huge hammocks hung from palm trees. I could lay there reading a book all day!

It's a moderate priced resort and if you're feeling really Caribbean-ish, you can get a Pirates themed room!

As far as the parks go, you may want to hit up the green & lush Animal Kingdom or the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Magic Kingdom!

In the parks or at the resort, you will have a very magical vacation!
