    My husband and I are planning a trip for a couple years down the road. Can we buy gift cards as a way to save up and use them to pay for the trip? Will they expire before then?

    This is a great strategy!  I have used gift cards before to pay for portions of a vacation, and they are a great way to set aside money that you won't dip into before you take your trip.

    I am holding a gift card in my hands right now, and on the back it reads, "For participating locations and additional terms and conditions for this gift card, visit DisneyGiftCard.com or call 1-877-650-4327."

    To answer your second question, no, the gift cards do not expire, nor is there a service fee assessed on unused balances.
