Boo-to-You Jessica! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in October is one of my favorite times to vacation! There is so much to see and do, and the “extras” around the park leave me wanting to come back again and again.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in my opinion is one of the best events that Disney offers. Mickey’s Boo-to-You parade is so fun and entertaining, and I always find myself singing along. I am obsessed with the Gravediggers, and watching the headless horseman before the parade begins always leaves me awestruck. One recommendation that I have for you is for your whole family to dress up! Find a theme or dress like your favorite Pixar movie characters. It is so fun to get the whole family involved and there are so many other guests dressing up it will make you feel like a kid all over again!
The other event that is happening during your stay is the
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Presented by Chase. Taste your way around World Showcase. With almost 30 international food and beverage marketplaces, there are so many great foods to try. At each of these marketplaces you can sample a variety of beverages, foods, and desserts from countries all over the world. The servings are small so that you can walk from place to place and not fill up too quickly, and while there is a charge for each thing that you try, we find that the experience can’t be missed! Don’t forget to catch the Eat to the Beat Concert series (free with park admission.) You may find that you know some of the acts that perform nightly!
I hope that you and your family have a spooktacular and tasty time!
Bon Appetite!
