My husband & I are planning to stay at Port Orleans French Quarters. He uses a scooter. Can this go on the boat? Will he have trouble with the cobbled sidewalks? I've always wanted to stay here.

    Hello Deborah!

I happen to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and I think you will as well!  Your husband should have no problem navigating the walkways of the resort.  You might consider requesting a Handicapped Accessible room,  if necessary.   You should also feel reassured to know that scooters can be accommodated on the boats which travel to the areas in Downtown Disney.  Be sure to discuss any concerns or special needs regarding your reservation with the folks at (407) WDW-STAY.

Additionally, please let me know if I can assist with any other trip planning questions.  Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
