Hi! My husband and I are planning a March 2012 visit with 2 toddlers-aged 3 and 1 1/2. Which moderate resort would you suggest? We will have a vehicle. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Stacey!

Generally speaking, there are only two Disney Moderate Resorts that I recommend:  Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter.  I think the other Moderate Resorts are too large to get around without a car.

However, since you said you have a car, I think you could stay at any of the resorts as long as you are willing to drive to the theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney, etc.  For example, you could stay in the cabins at Fort Wilderness and not have to worry about the Fort Wilderness internal bus system because you can park your car right in front of your cabin and just drive to various destinations on Walt Disney World.

All of that said, I still would recommend Port Orleans Riverside.  I love the theming there, especially the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.  The resort also has boat service to Downtown Disney and I really enjoy doing that, especially at night; it's a very relaxing way to travel to Downtown Disney.  I also love the pool and the large playground there, and as a guest at Riverside, ,you can even use the pool at French Quarter!

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
