My husband & I are planning our 2013 marathon weekend without kids and want a relaxing (except for the running) weekend and a suggestion for a WDW resort. We are budget conscience, but would like at least a moderate resort.

Hi Joni!  That sounds like a great trip!  My husband and I are planning to do the same thing!

You can browse the moderate resorts on the Disney World website.  If I were to choose one of the moderates, I would choose Coronado Springs Resort.  It is a beautiful resort and offers a little more luxury dining than some of the others.  But, any resort is just a bus ride away from the parks and getting to other resorts to eat.  All of the moderate resorts are very nice and they each offer something a little different.

You may also consider Saratoga Springs Resort.  It is listed with the Vacation Club Villa resorts, but is more moderately priced and has a beautiful spa!   (a post-race massage would be nice!)

My husband and I also like to try out some of the Signature Dining options when we are at Disney World without our children...so you may want to check those out too.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions while planning your trip!
