My husband and I are planning our honeymoon to WDW in July 2013. We both are fitness junkies. Which resorts have fitness rooms on their property? Are there any running trails that we should know about that would be good for early morning runs?

    Hi Sabrina,

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming wedding.  You must be so excited for your special day!  Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to honeymoon, and I think you'll find that you and your husband will be able to keep up your fitness regimen with ease.

Several resorts have fitness rooms available for guest use: Coronado Springs, BoardWalk, Grand Floridian (guests at Polynesian use this one too), Contemporary Resort, Yacht Club, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Kidani Village, and Saratoga Springs.

As far as running trails, there are several.  I really like being located on the BoardWalk.  It gives you the ability to run between Hollywood Studios and Epcot.  The running trail at Wilderness Lodge leads to Fort Wilderness and is quite scenic as well.  The concierge at your resort will be happy to provide you with a map of available running trails.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
