Hi! My husband and I were planning on heading back to the parks following our Cruise. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge before the cruise and using DME to get there. Can we book DME to take us to the airport post cruise after going to the parks?

Welcome aboard, Lauren! My family and I always try to extend our Disney Cruise Line vacations by adding a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort either before or after our cruise too!

Disney Cruise Line offers Ground Transfers between the Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral, as well as between the resorts at Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral. However, please know that these ground transfers are different than Disney's Magical Express. The cruise transfers carry an additional cost of $35 per person each way, whereas Disney's Magical Express is complimentary for resort guests on the first and last day of their resort stay, but only takes guests between the airport and the resorts.

The agents at Disney Cruise Line can help you arrange a ground transfer from Wilderness Lodge to Port Canaveral, and then from Port Canaveral to the Orlando airport after the cruise. It truly is the easiest way to transition from land to sea and back again, by letting Disney take care of the details, Lauren! The night before you set sail, you'll receive a notice in your resort room at Wilderness Lodge letting you know the exact pick up time for the next morning, as well as the luggage pick up. Usually, when we've sailed, the luggage is picked up from our resort room around 8:00 a.m. We don't need to be present, as long as we leave the bags inside by the door with the DCL tags on them. Then, we keep a day bag with us to enjoy breakfast and more exploring at the resort before we meet the motor coach for the hour long trip to Port Canaveral. The pick up times vary based on guests staying at each resort, but can be anywhere from 11:00 a.m. to around 1:30 p.m.

Have so much fun on your cruise!
