Hello again, Donna!
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing another question to us!
I’m sorry to hear that like so many families, your Disneyland Resort vacation was interrupted. Unfortunately, your unused tickets may not be used at Walt Disney World in Florida. While Disneyland Park and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park are similar in many ways, they are two different theme parks and are run independently. If you have your heart set on a
Walt Disney World vacation, tickets can easily be purchased
online or from the
My Disney Experience mobile app. If you’d like some extra help call (407) WDISNEY (407-934-7639) to speak to a Walt Disney World vacation planning expert.
And, your
Disneyland Resort tickets will not go to waste! That’s because unused single day tickets and wholly unused multi-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of the stated expiration date. But, there’s no need to worry if you are unable to visit before expiration. According to
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, once the theme parks reopen and you’re ready to visit, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth a Cast Member will apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.
I hope you are able to enjoy the magic of a Disney theme park very soon!
Please continue to head back to planDisney with your future questions! We’re all EARS!
