    My husband and I are planning our first trip to WDW, and we are having difficulty deciding which onsite Disney resort to stay (4-5 nts) . What do you recommend is the best hotel for an active 4 year old? We plan to spend most of our time at Magic King.

    I always find it so hard to choose a Disney Resort, because they are all great! With 4 year olds, the All Star Resorts or Pop Century are always hits because they're fun, whimsical and look like you simply entered another theme park. When traveling with toddlers, the most important thing for me is convenience. Since you plan on spending most of your time at Magic Kingdom, I would choose a resort that's nearby. I absolutely love Disney's Contemporary Resort which is just one monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom. Other resorts that are close to Magic Kingdom are Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or Disney's Polynesian Resort.
