My husband and i are planning our first family trip to WDW with 2 toddlers (2 & 1!) for 4 days and need a little help choosing a hotel! Ideally we'd like somewhere with easy access to the magic kingdom & a play area for the smalliesbut not crazy.

    Hi Rachel,

I have the perfect Disney resort for you!  With two toddlers I certainly understand your desire to be close to the Magic Kingdom.  This is a magical theme park for all ages, but especially for little ones.  If you book a room at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you will be only four minutes from the gates of the Magic Kingdom by complimentary Disney bus.  It doesn't get much more convenient than that, especially if you have children who take a nap mid-day and you need to make a quick retreat back to your room.

There are many other reasons to choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  It is consistently the most affordable resort in the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World.  The theming, based on the national parks and lodges of the Pacific northwest a century ago, is inspiring and gorgeous.  Just wait till you lay eyes on the spectacular seven-story lobby.  Pure magic!  There are great pools here, a beach, and a playground too.  You'll find abundant wildlife (ducks and rabbits) throughout the resort grounds, and be sure to listen for the crickets at night.  Jiminy and his friends are busy contributing to the ambience of the resort each evening.

I guarantee you're going to love Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  It's my favorite resort in the whole world.  Don't hesitate to post additional questions for me if you'd like to know more.

Best wishes for a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
