My husband and I are planning our first Disney trip. It will be our first time all staying in one hotel room. Do you have any ideas on how to allow for our kids to have an earlier bedtime than my husband and I?

    Hi Kelly,

Usually on a Disney vacation our kids so completely exhausted at the end of the day that it takes all of 5 minutes after crawling into bed for them to be out cold. Our youngest is 7 now and we just tell them all it's bed time ;) . However, that never worked so well when they were a bit younger. What we used to do is my husband and I would get ready for bed too and we'd all climb into our beds. We'd "pretend" to be going to bed at the same time as them. After about 5 minutes, the kids were sound asleep and we could get back up and talk. Sometimes though, we'd be so exhausted that we would end up falling asleep too. Be sure to set your wake-up call just in case this happens to you too. ;)

    Have a wonderful vacation,
