My husband and I are planning our very first Disney Cruise next fall - a 7 night Caribbean on the Fantasy! We are very excited to dine at Palo, but are wondering if you would recommend brunch or dinner? We will probably only do one or the other. Thanks!

    Welcome aboard, Kayla!

Fall 2015 will be here soon enough and you'll be joining Captain Mickey and his crew at the sail away party on the top decks of the majestic Disney Fantasy. The adult exclusive restaurant, Palo, is my absolute favorite dining spot and I'm so excited to hear that you've got it on your must-do list as well.

Though I love the romantically quiet setting that Palo exudes at dinner, I do have a preference for enjoying brunch on a sea day -- IF I were to only pick one of the two. A day at sea onboard the Disney Cruise ship is never complete without a visit to Palo. The food is spectacular and brunch offers a wide array of choices... a true feast for the eyes and your belly. You'll need to come hungry that morning - and you'll need to take your time, as you go through the elegant food stations. Don't worry, you'll be getting a tour to familiarize yourself with all the yumminess going on. To compliment all this, you've got service at its best to go along with you during brunch. You've got an awesome dining team at Palo, and you can really feel that they enjoy doing what they're doing. So come prepared, and enjoy every nibble. Taking a stroll on the top decks right after brunch is a pleasant (and very romantic) way to enjoy each others' company.

You really can't go wrong with either Dinner or Brunch at Palo. Dinner does feel more romantic (and quieter), and you've got all the awesome food choices to go along with it. Who knows, you might opt to do both eventually? :-)

Please be reminded that Palo observes a dress code. So don't forget to pack something nice to wear. You'll have a fabulous time for sure, Kayla! Enjoy planning your magical voyage and let us know if we can help with more questions.
