Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Victoria! I am just giddy imagining the incredibly precious memories your family will make when you travel to the Disneyland Resort with your new baby!
When I think about traveling with an infant to the parks, several things come to mind:
-If you like using a baby carrier or wrap to "wear" your child, you can absolutely bring one along. You can even keep your baby in the carrier while riding some attractions. Just speak with a Cast Member at the attraction to see if it's allowed.
-Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers - there is one located in each park. These are excellent places to change your baby, feed or nurse your baby, or even rock him/her to sleep. The centers also sell baby essentials and over-the-counter medication if you need it.
-You can ride as a family on any attraction that doesn't have a height restriction, and there are many that don't!
-I always recommend bringing a stroller or renting one at the parks. You can store all your necessities in the stroller, quickly move around the parks, and it can also be a great place for your child to nap.
-Bring along infant-safe sunscreen, a hat, an extra change of clothes or two, single servings of formula if your child is formula-fed, and a pacifier that can clip to his/her clothes if your child uses one. Finally, it can get very warm in sunny Anaheim, California, (even in November) so I suggest bringing a cooling towel or misting fan to help keep you and your baby comfortable.
I would love to continue to help you plan, so please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
