Me and my husband are planning our Disney World vacation with our then two-year-old daughter and my parents. I know she will be kind of young but she just loves Mickey Mouse. Do you know of places where she will be able to meet Mickey in person?

    Hello, Lacey,

Mickey Mouse is so excited to meet guests that he can be found in many places throughout all of Walt Disney World.  And don't worry, I don't think two years old is too young to enjoy WDW. Two of my children had their first trips just before turning two, and my youngest went for his first trip when he was 8 months old.

One of best places to meet him is character dining.  I love that the characters come to you rather than waiting in line to see them.  To meet Mickey, he actually has his own restaurant:  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast and dinner as well as Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness for dinner. He may also be at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club for breakfast, Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom for breakfast and lunch, and the Garden Grill at Epcot for dinner.  Character dining is quite popular, so you do want to make reservations early (up to 180 days out).

Then throughout all of the parks, Mickey has scheduled meet 'n greets. You'll want to make sure to grab a copy of the Times Guide (located with the park maps) to see the schedule/location. However at the Magic Kingdom's Town Square Theater,  you can use a fast pass to see him; no long waiting in line!

Please let us know if you have any more questions; we are happy to help.  Have a magical trip!
