My Husband and I are in the planning our Disney vacation, we are going with another couple. We want to stay together in but have separate sleeping areas, which resorts have that option?

    Hi April,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How fun to be planning a trip with another adult couple! There is so much to do at Walt Disney World for adults, and being able to share it with friends will be even more magical.

I suggest that you consider the Walt Disney World Deluxe Villa Resorts. These resorts have villas in a variety of sizes. You could book a one-bedroom villa that would allow one couple to sleep in the living room and the other to sleep in the bedroom, or consider a two-bedroom villa that would allow each couple to have their own bedroom and the living room to be only for visiting. Any one-bedroom or larger villa at these resorts includes a full kitchen and a washer and dryer right in the villa! One of my favorites among these resorts is Disney's Old Key West Resort. The relaxing Florida Keys feel would make for a laid-back vacation for a group of adults. I also very much enjoy a stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The feel at this resort is sleek and modern, and you can walk to the Magic Kingdom!

Another possibility is the cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, which will give you your own stand-alone cabin with a full kitchen, and a charcoal grill outside for cook outs!

I hope that this gives you some ideas for your stay, April. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
