Ahoy Nora!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful that you are beginning to plan your
Disney Cruise Line vacation for next year! It's never too early to start the planning process. Your son is going to love sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey and his friends!
When I read your question I instantly connected to it because my little guy has feeding challenges, too, and is only able to eat puréed foods. I'm so happy to share that this will not be a problem aboard the ship! The chefs can absolutely accommodate your son's puréed diet. Once you've already booked your cruise online, give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 and inform them of your son's
dietary needs. They will make a note on your reservation so your dining team will be notified. During your first night at dinner, be sure to mention this to your Server and Assistant Server. (Since a note will already be on your reservation, they may beat you to it and mention it to you first!) The chef will be prepared to make your son a delicious puréed feast each evening!
It has been my experience that the chefs are only able to accommodate puréeing meals at the table service restaurants, not at the buffets or food stations on the pool deck. Because of this, be sure to check your Personal Navigator newsletter each day to see which of the Main Dining restaurants will be serving breakfast and lunch so your son will be taken care of.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy to help make your voyage an unforgettable one!
