My husband and I are planning on going to disney in August and I will be pregnant. He wants to ride Rise of the Resistance with hopefully a lightning lane. Would I need a lightning lane pass just to walk the queue with him or can I just go?

Bright Suns, Nakia! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!

Before you know it, you and your husband (and your littlest Mousketeer) will be embarking on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. You have so much to be excited about right now, Nakia, and I'm so happy for you! Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends, so you can sit back, relax, kick up your feet, and start your countdown to the magic.

Unfortunately, you would also need a Lightning Lane Single Pass to enter the Lightning Lane entrance for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance with your husband. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." While your husband rides attractions that you can't ride, I suggest taking some time to explore the surrounding area.

While he is riding Rise of the Resistance, you can explore Galaxy's Edge! If you're anything like I was when I was pregnant, the snacks will be an important part of your trip. You are snacking for two, after all! I definitely recommend a Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters and the popcorn at Kat Saka's Kettle. If you need to cool down with a unique drink, grab a Blue Milk from the Milk Stand

While I think the food is a big part of the fun on a Walt Disney World vacation, if snacking isn't your thing, I recommend finding a bench in the shade and kicking your feet up. Galaxy's Edge is one of my favorite places to people-watch, because you might just encounter some of your favorite Star Wars characters. Don't worry, Nakia ... the magic will find you!

While this may not be the answer you were hoping for, Nakia, I hope it was at least helpful! I hope the three of you have the most magical and memorable time together. Congratulations! Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.

    May the spires keep you,

    Mandy
