My husband and I are planning 2 days at Disney. We are overwhelmed by all of the details that need to be preplanned ahead of time. Is there a simple way to make sure we get to see the things we want to see?

Hello Denise! Welcome to planDisney! This is an extremely important question, and I'm so humbled that you reached out to us today. Planning a trip can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but don't worry—I'm here to help make it easier for you. Regardless, I know you and your husband are going to have an absolutely fantastic time at Disney World!

First things first: I want to be real with you—trying to see everything in just two days is going to be a challenge! Honestly, I could spend ten days at Disney World and still not experience everything I want. It's such a big place, with four theme parks, two water parks, and so many amazing experiences, including the Disney Resorts, tons of restaurants, tours, mini-golf, and more. The key here is to relax and remember that you won't see everything at once, but you'll still have loads of fun!

Now, let's talk about how to make the most of your two days! If you're looking to hop between theme parks, you'll need a Park Hopper ticket. Staying at a Disney Resort is a fantastic idea, too—it'll help you move around quickly with free transportation and extra magic hours! Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app. It's super handy for checking out all the attractions and experiences available at each park, so you can decide which ones are at the top of your list.

Also, take some time to get familiar with the free Disney Genie service. This service works with the My Disney Experience app, helping you plan your day and focus on your favorite attractions. And then check if you want to splurge on some of the new Lightning Lane passes! These can help you skip the standby lines for select attractions. You have some options here: the Lightning Lane Multi Pass lets you choose up to three attractions per day, while the Lightning Lane Single Pass is for one of the most popular rides. You can go for just one or both, depending on how many attractions you want to hit.

Before I wrap up, I just want to remind you that Disney World is so much more than just rides. Yes, the roller coasters and simulators are thrilling, but the real magic is everywhere—the sounds, the atmosphere, the colors, and even the popcorn that seems to be on every corner! Enjoying parades, snacking, and shopping are all perfectly wonderful ways to spend your time. There's no right or wrong way to do Disney; it's all about what makes you happy! For instance, as a Star Wars fan, I could spend hours at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge instead of rushing around for every ride. And when it's hot outside, I love chilling by the resort pool or visiting a water park, then hitting the parks in the evening for the fireworks. Just do you, and you will be just fine.

I hope this helps, Denise! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out anytime. I always love lending a hand to our amazing friends like you!

    Cheers,
    Nilson
