My husband and I are planning a "date weekend" for the RunDisney 2018 Wine & Dine Half in November. Which WDW resorts will be considered "host resorts" for race weekend?

    Hi Katie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

I have some great news for you! Typically, all Walt Disney World Resort hotels are included as “hosts” for a runDisney event like the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. This means that there will be transportation to the weekend’s runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, as well as to all of the races.

So enjoy your runDisney date weekend vacation at the Resort of your choice, knowing that your race transportation won’t be an issue. My suggestion for your special weekend: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I absolutely love how peaceful it is to have a nice frosty drink after a race, while watching the giraffes and zebras roam the savanna. I highly recommend it for a romantic couples’ getaway!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
