Me and my husband are planning on celebrating our 25th anniversary August of 2020 on a budget ,which resort should we choose, And anything else you can help us with to make it a special time. We will be there for 7 days with a 4 day basic ticket.

Hi, Tammy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! I’m delighted to help you and your husband plan a romantic getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort.

When romance is on the agenda, my thoughts turn to one of the most quaint and lovely Resort hotels in all of Walt Disney World, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This Resort hotel takes its inspiration from the elegance of New Orleans, featuring manicured walkways and brick buildings with lots of wrought iron trim. It’s perfect for a moonlit stroll, and as a Moderate Resort, it’s an affordable locale for your special visit.

From Port Orleans - French Quarter, you can take a cruise (for free!) on the Sassagoula River over to Disney Springs for some nighttime fun with your sweetheart that won't break the bank. Sample the tasty fare from the fun food trucks, then grab a drink and raise a toast on the waterfront. After that, pick up a sweet treat to share and enjoy some live entertainment. And that's only a small taste of all you can do at Disney Springs!

Also, be sure to get a couple of free anniversary buttons at your Resort hotel concierge, or at any Guest Relations location or retail shop in the Theme Parks. You’ll get lots of warm wishes when you wear them, and you never know when a little extra pixie dust may come your way!

And Tammy, your anniversary trip calls for some special photos of you and your love! Disney PhotoPass photographers have so many creative ways to capture your magical moments together.

I hope this helps you and your husband plan a truly memorable anniversary adventure, Tammy. Please come see us again if you have any more questions - and a very happy anniversary from your friends on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
