My husband and I are planning to celebrate our 2 year anniversary in WDW!!!!.....any ideas where we could enjoy a magical romantic dinner?

    Hi Edith!

Congratulations on your (almost) anniversary!  I love celebrating special occasions at any of Disney's signature dining restaurants.  These are Disney's fine dining establishments, and are a wonderful venue to toast to any romantic evening!  Some of my absolute favorites include:

  • Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge-   The food is amazing and the South African wine list is incredible.  My newest favorite is the Rustenberg Five Soldiers Chardonnay!
  • California Grille at the Contemporary-  Many consider this to be the flagship signature dining experience at Disney, and it does not disappoint.  The menu is so fresh that it changes weekly.  A well-timed meal here will also enable you and your hubby to enjoy Wishes from the Magic Kingdom right at your table or on a lovely outdoor deck.
  • Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge- The Northwest theme of the incredible menu features a signature salmon dish that many rave about, game and a delicious filet.
  • If you want to make your evening even more magical, you might also consider a romantic, in-room celebration.  I recently had the "From Mickey and Minnie with Love" celebration delivered to my room.  It included rose petals on the bed, a dozen roses, chocolates, bath products, embroidered bath towels and lighted candles.  For more information on in-room celebrations, you can visit

    Have a magical evening!
