My husband and I are planning on attending Night of Joy in September for the first time. Do you have any advice or tricks to navigating these two nights to get the best experience?

Hi, Suzanne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during Disney Night of Joy, a 2 night Christian Concert series held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Here are some tips to make your evenings run smoothly!

    1) Reserve your Disney Resort hotel in advance! There might be some great Special Offers at that time of year! This way, you can use the Complimentary Resort Transportation to and from the event, although I hear that taking your own vehicle or getting a taxicab is a quicker method.

    2) There are multiple performance areas and most are indoors, but the fields were open in the past for recreation. If a quick game of soccer is something that interests you, dress comfortably!

    3) As mentioned, there are many performance areas, so be sure you know the schedule and who you don’t want to miss! Specific schedules should be out in the coming months. Keep your eyes and ears on the Disney Parks Blog for more information!

    4) Arrive early. Plan to stay late.

    5) There are food and performer merchandise booths, so you can come with an empty belly or grab a souvenir!

    6) Bring your camera! Some of your favorite Disney Characters are sure to make an appearance!

I hope these quick tips help you and your husband make the most of this wonderful event!
