Hi Barbara!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!
Oh wow! I'm so excited that you're going to the
Disneyland After Dark Grad Nite Reunion event! My very favorite
panel pal Kristin C. and I attended the 90's themed After Dark event in 2019 and it was a BLAST! I know you're going to have an amazing time at this one, too. Yes, guests who purchase an admission ticket to the
After Dark Events or
evening seasonal holiday events can get into the theme park where the event is being held a few hours early. However, as the
Grad Nite Reunion event is being held at the
Disney California Adventure Park, that's the only park you'll have access to on the 28th with just your After Dark admission ticket.
You can still visit
Disneyland Park during the daytime on June 28. To do this you'll purchase a regular
Theme Park Admission Ticket and make a
Park Pass Reservation for Disneyland Park. (hEAR's the current
Park Pass Reservation availability calendar.) Or you can make a reservation to DLP with your
Magic Key annual pass if you have one.
One Pro Tip that I can provide about
Disneyland After Dark Parties is that they feel kind of short. All of the extras, like special character meet & greets, dance parties, themed snacks for purchase, and sometimes even special themes to our favorite attractions, make it hard to do and see everything that the party provides, much less all of the normal fun stuff in the host theme park. In my personal opinion, I would not try to park hop between both regular Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park and then also attempt to attend the
After Dark Grad Nite Reunion in the same day. Rather, you could almost spend the morning in regular DCA soaking all of that up as normal, go back to your hotel to freshen up, and then come back to
Disney California Adventure Park before the party starts. That way you get your fill of that park without trying to squeeze in all of the non-themed stuff during the party.
I hope that that last suggestion made sense. And I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disneyland Days! Be sure to follow the
