    My husband planned a last minute trip for the family in Mid May. My girls are 4 and 2 so we are thinking of doing a day in Magic Kingdom. It seems like all the character dining (Mickey and Princess) are booked. any wait lists or suggestions??

    How wonderful that your Prince Charming planned a vacation for you and your princesses!  That is great news.

    Some of the more popular character dining locations do fill up quickly, but make sure you check THIS LIST to see if there are some locations you may have overlooked.  Also when looking to book an Advanced Dining Reservation, just select date, the meal you want, and NO restaurant.  See what comes up!  You might just find a new favorite or might be surprised at what is available.

    My final recommendation is to KEEP CHECKING!  Hop online first thing in the morning to see if there are any openings that may be available from the previous days' cancellations.  With the new stricter ADR policy and required deposits, guests are way more likely to cancel as to not forfeit their deposits.

    Don't give up! While there are no Wait Lists, there are always cancellations, so keep checking up until the day you want to dine at Chef Mickey's or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall as that perfect reservation just may become available!   Good luck!
