my husband and i are planing our kids first time to wdw next summer are we allowed to leave the park during the day and go rest and come back when it gets cooler in the evening without paying again]

    Hi Lisa!

Your first vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, how wonderful!  I am so happy to hear that you are starting to plan for next summer - for me planning our vacations is ALMOST as fun as visiting Walt Disney World Resort!  With your Magic Your Way Base Tickets, you are allowed entry into one theme park per day.  Guests are able to enter and re-enter that same theme park as many times as they would like, during the same day, without having to pay for re-entry.  If you choose to visit another theme park on the same day, you will need to use another ticket.  With that being said, if you would like to visit multiple theme parks on the same day, I would recommend adding the Park Hopper Option to your Magic Your Way Base Tickets.  This option will allow you to "hop" from theme park to theme park spending as much or as little time in each theme park as you wish.

Taking a mid-day break from the theme parks is a great idea.  It allows for some downtime during the busiest parts of the day, and gives your family the chance to recharge in order to experience Walt Disney World at night.

I hope you have a magical first visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your vacation.  I would love to hear from you again!
