Hi Yang!
Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. From your question, it looks like you will just be visiting Walt Disney World for one day. My answer assumes that is the case; if that's wrong, please write back with another question!
With just one day in Walt Disney World, I would plan on just going to the Magic Kingdom. It is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and, in my opinion, the crown jewel of the entire theme park industry. The Magic Kingdom has the most rides and shows suitable for young children.
You might want to try a Disney Character Dining Experience. Good places in or close to the Magic Kingdom are:
- Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
- Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom
- 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
- Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom
Reservations have to be made for any Table Service restaurants you want to dine in. Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE and they should be made as soon as possible.
Since it is your first visit, I suggest picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal. It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information, but it is not overwhelming. It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs. It will give you some good tips on the Magic Kingdom.
I hope this helps! Write back if you have any more questions!
