Lala from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi me and my husband plan a trip to Disney. We are only going for 1 day but we want to know if we need to purchase a ticket for our toddle he turns 3 the day after we go would this affect us. I know he can still get in for free if he two.

Hey there, hi there, Lala! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

I'm so excited to see you here! That means that the magic is calling you, and you're answering the call by planning a magical family adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth. How exciting! With the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort in full swing, you could not be visiting at a better time. Now, let's get this planning party started so you and your family can have the BEST. DAY. EVER!

You are absolutely correct that little Mouseketeers under three years old are free and do not need a Theme Park Ticket or Reservation to play in the parks. They're special Guests of Mickey Mouse, of course! So, since your little one will still be two on your visit, you really couldn't be visiting at a better time! I think you will be happy to hear that your soon-to-be-three-year-old will still be free (for one last day!), which will not affect you and your tickets at all. See?! BEST. DAY. EVER!

Since you will be visiting the day before your little one's birthday, don't forget to pick up a complimentary birthday button from any Guest Relations location, and be sure to spend plenty of time playing in Mickey's Toontown where the animated world comes to life. Oh boy! Nothing can stop you now!

I hope this helps, Lala, and I hope you all have the most magical and memorable birthday celebration! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
