Hello, My husband and I want to plan a trip to disney for our children. I have two girls ages 6 & 9 and a 11yr old son. I would like to know the best time of year to take our trip, the best place for us to stay? Can you reccommend something affordab

    Hi Samantha!

Get ready for the most magical vacation of your life!  I have three children as well and I totally understand how crazy it can be to deal with kids that outnumber the parents!  As far as the best time to travel, I have a great rule of thumb for ya.  If kids across the nation are out of school, you can bet that Walt Disney World will be pretty crowded.  That being said, two of the least crowded months to travel are September and January.  You can typically find fantastic deals at this time (such as FREE Dining!!!) and the crowd levels are super low!

The vast majority of standard guest rooms on Walt Disney World property are legally designed to hold four guests.  Sooo, for those of us with three kiddos, we are a little more limited.  You may certainly choose one of the fabulous two or three bedroom villas; however, those can get a little pricey.  Don't worry though, I've gotcha covered!  Port Orleans Riverside is home to Alligator Bayou and its rooms hold five guests!  They have been recently renovated and feature two Queen beds, as well as an adorable flip down bed that your kids will fight over!

Or, both All Star Music and Disney's Art of Animation feature Family Suites.  Believe it or not, these are both Value Resorts and the Family Suites feature lots of sleeping areas, a kitchenette and TWO full bathrooms.  Lots of bang for your buck!

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and I'd love to hear from you again!

    Much pixie dust,
